Course Description

Baby Express USA is a fun and educational program for babies, infants, toddlers, parents and caregivers. These Mommy & Me classes are designed to teach American Sign Language through familiar, age-appropriate songs and books, in order to faciliate early language skills for babies 6 months and up.

Amy Rossano, MA, OTR, is the founding director of Baby Express USA, LLC. Amy taught her two sons (now ages 5 and 3) when they were 6 months old. Amy is an Occupational Therapist and a Sign Language Interpreter and teacher. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the Pennsylvania State University and her Masters of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University. Amy received a Sign Language degree from the the New York Society for the Deaf and became a certified ASL interpreter. Amy has been working with deaf and hearing children of all ages. Amy’s experience agrees with the research and findings of Joseph Garcia and others who report many positive benefits of early signing. Amy is level 1 certified with Sign With Your Baby.
